This project was a daunting task for me. I was in TV productions back in high school, and at the time I did NOT get along with the editing equipment. Finally, a friend of mine and I struck a deal; I would do the camera work for her videos as well as mine, and she would edit both hers and mine for the final cut. Oh, if only I had Camtasia back then.

This project was fun. I enjoyed making a script about the tricks to a perfect cookie and finding images that fit with my mental picture. I chose to find photographs within Canva, because I kept coming across obstacles using royalty free websites. My options to download sizes was limited or even nonexistent. Once I recorded the script, I used a second track to time the length of the photo to match the narration. I then used transitions to give the allusion of movement and to keep the viewer engaged. I added music as a transition at the end of the video to fade into the credits and end the video. Finally, I exported the package as an .mp4 file and uploaded it to my newly created YouTube account. My children were my first audience, and after watching the video, they were ready to make some cookies.
